The location of Check Inn Express Taipei Yongkang is fantastic, just a short walk from Dongmen MRT, making it super easy to explore the city. I appreciated the friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to provide recommendations for local eateries. The room was clean, and I loved having free bottled water every day. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool, which was a relief from the humid weather outside. The self-service laundromat was a lifesaver during my stay. However, I did notice the noise insulation could be better. I could hear doors opening and closing quite clearly from my room. Also, the breakfast options were a bit limited. While I found it passable, I expected something more given the positive reviews. All in all, I would still recommend it for its great location and staff, but I'd advise keeping an eye out for the noise and breakfast variety.

I stayed for 2 nights and loved how close everything was – the metro, food spots all around. The staff were super helpful and super chill, especially Peter! My room was comfy but had some wallpaper peeling. Breakfast was solid too, with good options for vegans. Overall, a nice stay!
